From time to time EUGEO organises Europe-wide conferences and congresses that focus on European geographical themes.

The organisation of each conference is led by one of the member societies and involves participation from other members.

EUGEO 2009 is being organised by the Slovak Geographical Society in close cooperation with the Hungarian and Czech Geographical Societies.
