Join EUGEO

Membership of EUGEO is open to any scholarly geographical society, institute or other membership organisation in a nation of the European Union. Membership of both national and regional bodies is welcomed. Non-EU nations within Europe are eligible for Corresponding Membership.

Where there is more than one Society member from one country, the Society wishing to join should first, as a courtesy, gain the approval of other member Societies within the same country (if any).

All members are required to identify a named EUGEO representative for purposes of communication. Representatives are eligible and encouraged to attend the EUGEO Assembly meetings, which are held once or twice per annum, in a venue hosted by a member Society. Costs for attendance are met by individual member Societies.

Board members currently comprise one representative per country, and where there is more than one member Society in a country, the Board member is to be agreed between them.

Those wishing to join should write either to:

Chair of EUGEO (Professor Christian Vandermotten): email: cvdmotte@ulb.ac.be

or

Secretary General of EUGEO (Dr Rita Gardner): email: director@rgs.org

An annual membership fee is payable, varied according to the size of organisation. Full details of membership fees are available from the:
Treasurer (Dr Hans de Weert): email: h.deweert@nsm.kun.nl
